ACDI/VOCA seeks a specialist in Staple Grain Production (wheat, barley, oat, rye, etc,) for a Volunteer Assignment in Armenia. The selected Volunteer will collaborate with the host to review their current agricultural challenges and recommend solutions.   ***As part of the Farmer-to-Farmer Consortium, this assignment is made possible through USAID funding. In accordance to USAID guidelines, any candidates submitted for consideration under this project must have a valid US passport or Green Card.***  

ACDI/VOCA seeks a specialist in Biogas Safety for a Volunteer Assignment in Tajikistan. The selected Volunteer will collaborate with the host to educate users on the safe operation of bioreactors for biogas production. Through training and guidance, farmers and other users will learn essential safety protocols to prevent accidents and properly handle biogas systems. This includes measures for safely managing organic waste, controlling gas emissions, and maintaining equipment to avoid leaks or malfunctions. By focusing on safety, the project aims to ensure that the technology is effective and poses minimal risk to the environment and the communities using it.
